Lena Strandberg's knitting design Hoppa Socks

Featured in the Potter & Bloom podcast

My Hoppa Socks knitting design was featured in the podcast Potter & Bloom episode 52 called “Winning”.

I’m very happy to be featured in such a nice podcast that I myself listen to. Published in November, when winter is creeping around the corner, you might need to warm up your feet.

About the design

Initially I actually created the Hoppa Socks knitting design to wear with your summer clog, or coming out from the top of your boot or sneaker, but of course they’ll keep your little toes warm during the winter as well.

In a tonal sock yarn this easy stitch pattern looks almost embroidered. The socks are knitted top down with a traditional slip stitch heel flap and gusset, which suits the stitch pattern well. The suggested yarns are both rather plump and smooth sock weight yarns that feels almost like cotton.

I recommend the yarn Rohrspatz & Wollmeise Sockenwolle 80/20 Twin or BAERENWOLLE BAERfoot Sock for this pattern.
